Can't wait -all of your actions so far have been bang on! Quick hint though, as interest in your action sets grows -might be worth marketing them as "toy camera" or suchlike - i'll guarantee you that a certain app maker will be aupset that you can make hipsta FX with better quality ;)

Each to their own? I wouldn't say that it does look like overdone tone mapping. But really, who are you to say anything? I had a look at your gallery which is filled with muddy looking hdr images that aren't sharper at all, just hazy and a good example of what NOT to do when using photomatix.

Well at least the image is sharp and clear unlike the images that are in your gallery, which are (whoops) over processed, hazy and muddy looking...

I am totally the same opinion like ProPSWizard in the comment before.
95% of all "wannabe-Dave-Hillers" just create some (badly) overdone HDR-effects.
This isn't looking like the style of Dave Hill. This isn't even looking good.

You just can't do the Dave Hill with Topaz Adjust!!!

Problem solved :) I'm guessing that the images you were working on were 16 bit. I changed a few things and uploaded a 16 Bit friendly action set as choice for download for the movie actions.

The actions 300 effect Day and Night, they stop by Diffuse Glow then filters effect 2 and Grain.
Then the action Sin City, this one stops by the command Grain. And the action Technicolor stops by the command 'Photocopy. Hope you can fix it ;)

Good serie, but some of them don't work on the 64bit photoshop CS5.
